Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds and cancellations for memberships, events, and other services provided by the Indian Homeopathic Medical Association (IHMA).

1. Membership Fees

Once membership fees are paid and the membership is activated, they are generally non-refundable except in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate payment transactions
  • Rejection of membership application by IHMA
  • Technical errors in payment processing
2. Event Registration Cancellations

For events organized by IHMA:

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • Cancellations made 15-29 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the event: No refund
  • In case of event cancellation by IHMA: Full refund
3. Course and Training Programs

For educational courses and training programs:

  • Cancellations before course commencement: 75% refund
  • Cancellations after course commencement: No refund
  • Transfer to another batch may be permitted subject to availability
4. Refund Process

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 working days
  • Amount will be credited to the original payment method used
  • Bank charges, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount
5. Force Majeure

IHMA reserves the right to modify or cancel events due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, political events, pandemics, etc.). In such cases, appropriate refunds or alternatives will be provided.

6. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, members must:

  • Submit a written request explaining the reason for refund
  • Provide transaction details and proof of payment
  • Include their membership ID or registration details
7. Discretionary Decisions

IHMA reserves the right to make final decisions on refund requests in cases not covered by this policy. Each case will be evaluated on its individual merits.
