IHMA Fever Guidelines-

The first of its kind in Homoeopathy. An ardent attempt to standardize the fever management scenario . Greatly acclaimed by the Planning board of Govt of Kerala,”Fever Guidelines “ for sure will be a stepping stone towards formulating disease based” Homoeopathic Treatment Protocols”.

Standardization in the Homoeopathic Treatment –

Uniform “Patient Management System” is one step towards bringing close the goal to present a unified face of Homoeopathic Management across the society. Incorporating the specifications of International Standards of Patient Management into Homoeopathy for sure would help to give answers to the sharp critics of the system .

Nano Medicine and Homoeopathy-

Making use the advancements in the world of nano technology and thereby making attempts to quantify the Homoeopathic Medicine is a new area to explore. Spectrometric studies attempted in Mumbai IIT has come up with encouraging signs , by which the scientific world can for sure no more point fingers towards Homoeopathy. IHRC was instrumental in conducting workshops which made homoeopaths aware of the developments.

Epidemic Management-

IHRC has intervened timely to help homoeopaths tackling the various epidemics that has broken out . Epidemics of Cholera, Japanese Encephalitis, Chickun Gunea, Dengue Etc have been dealt prophylactic as well as curative with great success .

Homoeopathic education for Doctors-

IHRC has done workshops all across kerala to publicize “fever Guidelines”. Awareness sessions for the public and homoeopaths has been organized, thereby successfully uplifting the public expectations of homoeopathy in acute fevers .

Future plans.

  • Documentation of fever cases-

    IHRC plans to document , successfully treated homoeopathic cases of Dengue, Leptospirosis, Typhoid ,Malaria etc which manifests initially as high fever .Its planning to launch a state wise campaign to make homoeopaths document with ample supporting evidences in such cases. By procuring enough documented cases we may be able to place our stake in State Governments Health Policy and it would be a great leap towards achieving the status of” evidence based scientific Therapy” .

  • Developing protocols In Thyroid disease management and Vascular headaches.

  • Thyroid diseases and vascular headaches are considered able to be managed successfully with homoeopathic doctors . Not by all but few. By developing protocols IHRC envisages to reach out to all homoeopaths in successful management of these cases.

School of Homoeopathy

IHMA School of Homoeopathy

The academic wing of IHMA, The School of Homoeopathy was constituted to augment and enhance the academic and clinical urge and skill of practicing Homoeopathic doctors in India. The Kerala wing has attained many commendable achievements in this area in the past few years from its beginning onwards.

We have been conducting Structured training programs for competitive examinations like MD(Hom) entrance and UPSC/KPSC examinations during these period and we are very happy that the doctors who attended these training programs bagged more than 80% of the top ranks in the job/entrance tests in the last few years with the help and guidance of our eminent faculties.

IHMA Book for Advanced Studies in Competitive Examinations ( i Basic ), the unique and comprehensive study material package for competitive examinations repared by IHMA School of Homoeopathy Kerala, has become a study guide and reference manual for many in the field.

Homoeopathic Medical Panorama is the official journal of IHMA. It covers policy matters of the association, current issues in Homoeopathic fraternity, academic matters related with homoeopathy and medical profession.

The tri monthly journal has already bee appreciated as one of the best journal of homoeopathy in India. As the official journal of the premier organization of elite homoeopaths, it was there in past years raising voice for the needs of qualified homoeopaths across the nation and fighting those who stood against the interests of the system in and outside the community, along with its efforts to nurture its academic needs through quality articles to promote standardized and ethical homoeopathic profession.

Representations in RAECH

IHMA Representation in RAECH (Rapid Action Epidemic Cell Homoeopathy)


The Govt of Kerala sanctioned the Project of Rapid Action Epidemic Control Cell Homoeopathy (RAECH), Kerala, as per GO(Rt) No: 2543/04/H & FWD dated 07/09/2004. This cell was inaugurated on 15.12.2004. Epidemic Control Measures are being initiated under the supervision of RAECH by distributing preventive medicines, conducting medical camps, health awareness programmes and seminars throughout the State, wherever epidemics break out. The activities of RAECH are accomplished every year successfully with the plan fund allotted for this project.

For the past 5 years we were successful in contributing remarkable role in prevention activities designed by Govt. of Kerala.

Efficacy of Homoeopathic medicine in prevention of Epidemics was well established in the recent survey study made by our department in the epidemic of Chikungunea.

RAECH has been organizing ROTP for Homoeopathic Doctors in compacting new epidemics. In short our past experience in prevention of Cholera, Gastroenteritis, Japanese encephalitis, Dengue, And Chikungunea is well appreciated by people, NGO’s, LSG’s and Govt. of Kerala.
